Bright Ideas

The NIE program is soliciting from teachers their best practices using The Tribune-Democrat as a teaching tool in their classroom. Elementary, middle, high school and special education teachers can enter by submitting lesson plans, classroom activities, quizzes or whatever you use to motivate your students to lean their subject material. All ideas will be posted on this page.
This is one way the Newspaper in Education (NIE) Program can recognize creative and successful ideas for integrating newspaper use into the teacher’s curriculum. Please contact Dianne Schultz at 532-5009 or nie@tribdem.com if you have any questions.

Teachers please complete the following information:

The Tribune-Democrat, NIE Program, 425 Locust Street, Johnstown, PA 15901,
